    Introduction to Permaculture: principles & practice . september 10-12 2015 During this experiential course & public workshop we will explore foundational concept of permaculture Design. A common theme throught will be expanding this lens for systems thinkng and integrative design to all facets of life and society. Using the campus as a learning laboratory, we will practice observation and site assessment techniques to cultivate a strong sense of place from which to develop design strategies for achieig our goals. The course will culminate in a hands-on project transforming a cmapus space into a permaculture-designed demonstration site.  The course will be open for students and the general public. THURSDAY 1-6PM FRIDAY & SATURDAY 9-5 Thursday & Friday will consist of classroom instructional time. Saturday will be a concept implementation day in the garen.
